TTPA Scholarships FAQs
Share |

Texas Tech Parents Association awards scholarships annually. TTPA scholarships are in addition to Texas Tech University scholarship and, therefore, require a separate application.

The selection process is administered by the Association's Scholarship Selection Committee which meets in February to review student applications and select recipients.  Scholarships are awarded for the 2014 - 2015 fall and spring semesters.  The amount awarded for the scholarships may vary, though they are currently at least $1,000 ($500/semester).

Students at Texas Tech University, Texas Tech School of Law, and the Texas Tech Health Sciences Center, graduate students, entering freshmen and transfer students are eligible to apply.

The deadline for the 2014-2015 scholarship application was FEBRUARY 1, 2014 at 5:00 p.m.

Students will be notified via email about their status after the Tech Parents Scholarship Committee and Board of Directors make their final selections in March 2014. Good luck!

NOTE: Current students must have their Fall 2013 GPA and cumulative TTU GPA before applying.
