Below are volunteer positions open with the Texas Tech Parents Association.  

Most are positions that you can do from home.

Board of Directors

Texas Tech Parents Association Board Members volunteer their time.  Our Board members reside in Austin, Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston, Lubbock and San Antonio. 

 

Positions Available - Brief Descriptions

Treasurer: Works with Association's CPA and Executive Director.  Oversees reporting, bill paying, reviews policies for financial security, 

 

Secretary: Takes minutes of Board Meetings and maintains records, responds to emails, primary correspondence person.

 

Director of Events: works with Executive Director to support Association events and volunteers; provides web support for chapter events and activities.

 

Other National Association Volunteer Opportunities

 

Webmaster:  Works with web host to maintain website; fix broken links, aligns points of information within menu links

 

Graphic Design:  Create newsletters, brochures, flyers, etc. (content provided)

 

Family Weekend Volunteer:  Check in and greet families, provide directions, set up game night, host & hostess for dinner, photography, and more options.  You choose where and when to volunteer.

 

Parent Ambassador:  Represent the Association and the University at sponsored events.  Training required.  For more information, visit the Parent Ambassador Page.
