Question on TTPA Members & Cost of Tailgating

Do TTPA members get into tailgating free, or do we need to purchase tickets? I thought I read somewhere that mentioned if you are a TTPA member, you get in free.

If you purchased/reserved "Tailgate on the Green" tickets on the TTPA website, where you bought event t-shirts, breakfast tickets, etc., then you will pick up wristbands at the Family Weekend check-in on Friday or Saturday morning. The tickets for the Tailgate were free for TTPA members and $5 per person for non-members. These Tailgate wristbands will be what tells folks you have tickets for the catered BBQ that will be served.

If you don't have the wristbands, you will still be able to mix and mingle with all the folks at the Tailgate, you just won't be able to partake of the catered BBQ that is being served.

So do you have to have a ticket to go to the tailgate event? Looks like they are sold out. I had no idea these were limited. We don't have to do the BBQ .
