About parent involvement (Campus ESP report, “Meet the New Digital Parent in Higher Education”)

  • 82% of parents say they would find specific engagement valuable.
  • Students who say they get academic advice (mentoring) from their parents “very often” indicate an average GPA that is 35% higher than those who do not.
  • 73% of parents are interested in staying involved with their student’s college, even after graduation.

We at Texas Tech Parents Association believe families who stay connected result in stronger students. We want to experience the maturing years of our sons and daughters while they are away at college - from anxious, unsure, but eager kid to confident, certain and mature adult.

Below are opportunities for you to participate in the life of your chapter.  Please join together to make a difference in your Red Raider Community.
